WHAT DOES IT TREAT?

Juscefaxee-500 is an antibiotic that treats bacterial infections like pharyngitis, otitis media, sinusitis, and bronchitis. It can also be used for uncomplicated skin infections, urinary infections, gonorrhea and early Lyme disease. This drug is not to be used for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu)

MODE OF ACTION

This cefuroxime axetil tablets belong to the family of medications known as cephalosporins. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is resistant to most beta lactamases and active against a wide range of G+ve and G-ve organisms.

HOW TO USE?

Swallow whole tablets twice daily, or as prescribed by your physician. Do not crush or chew. Take the drug at specific interludes until the full-prescribed amount is finished.

POSSIBLE SIDE-EFFECTS

The common side-effects are Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach pain

Higher doses may cause Dizziness,Drowsiness

The serious side-effects are

• Unusual tiredness
• Yellowing of the eyes or skin
• Severe abdominal or stomach pain
• Persistent nausea or vomiting
• Dark urine
• Change in the amount of urine
• Change in the amount of urine
• Mood changes
• Persistent diarrhea
• Blood or mucus in stool

CHECK IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC

Prolonged use of this drug can cause oral thrush or a vaginal infection. Symptoms like white patches in your mouth or a change in vaginal discharge should be reported immediately to your doctor.

Serious allergic reactions are Rash/itching/swelling of the face/throat/tongue, Severe dizziness,Trouble breathing

DRUG INTERACTIONS

JUSCEFAXEE-500, in some cases, decreases the effectiveness of birth control pills which could cause pregnancy.

It may cause false positive results with certain diabetic urine tests and false negative results with certain blood glucose tests. Inform your doctor and the laboratory staff about the usage of the drug.
